Jack, Tom and Derwin (Bill) Sleader. Press photo from The Western Australian in 1960 illustrating an article about the three brothers being together for the first time since about 1929 or 1930.
Trevor Sleader: "All were born in South Australia, Tom the eldest and Jack the youngest. Bill joined the PMG (Post Master General's Dept) and was postmaster at Williams, Nullagine, Fitzroy Crossing (at the time we were in Turkey Creek and Derby) and finally PM of the East Perth Post Office. Tom worked at the docks at Port Adelaide and lived locally all his life to my knowledge. Jack was a self employed contractor until joining the RAAF during WW2. He took advantage of adult training offered to WW2 veterans and trained as a PMG Linesman".
