Allen Redfearn: "The beast hanging from the tree is a 'mutton' which was a colloquial term for a goat.Frederick, together with another bloke, were the first lighthouse keepers at Cape Leveque. It was intended to be installed in 1913 at the tip of King Sound North of Broome, but was completed earlier in 1911.He was there right from the start, not long after he arrived in Western Australia."
Allen Redfearn: "The Cape Leveque light has been automated for 40 years or so, but they saved the original light and put it on display at the Freemantle Maritime Museum where I took this picture."
